The Role:

The Finance team are recruiting for a self-starter and proactive individual to process all purchase invoices, liaising effectively and efficiently with staff and managers to ensure accuracy and sign off, entering all data onto D365 and COUPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the Finance team with the timely and efficient delivery of financial operational and audit activities within the company.
  • Accurate and timely processing of all purchase invoices using 2 way and 3 way match in D365 and COUPA
  • Timely completion of finance administration tasks including monthly statement reconciliations.
  • To deliver against the month end schedule by ensuring that all deadlines are met, including monthly accruals
  • To work positively with managers and staff across the company to ensure effective and informed transactions and financial management.
  • Monthly company credit card processing and intercompany transactions clearance and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with all UK/EU Tax and fiscal regulations, rules or procedures that pertain to English, European and International law or statutes as far as these relate to purchase accounting
  • To lead by example in upholding the organisation’s culture and values and leading by example in the delivery of these.
  • To promote and comply with the Company’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies at all times.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of managing financial Information and transactions
  • Formal Accountancy Qualification or equivalent proven track record in a financial environment
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Be persistent in problem solving, seeking solutions through the expertise of both self and others, researching the facts with care and resolving problems in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Provide practical advice and solutions to problems and ensure that tasks are followed through, loose ends are tied up and the job is completed.
  • Be consistent in the way a task is tackled, creating sound practical procedures which incorporate checks for accuracy and ensure that tasks are completed satisfactorily.
  • Be confident when dealing with negative people and encourage them to come up with imaginative solutions to difficult problems.
  • Seek direction and authority from others when and if appropriate.
