Prima Cheese Ltd is looking to employ a 30-hour Receptionist for their Manufacturing business in Seaham Grange. This role will cover reception duties from 11am until 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am until 3pm on a Friday, to be confirmed at interview. Reporting to the Head Receptionist, who comes with many years of experience working front of house in a 5* hotel environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional person, with substantial administration and reception duties experience, to welcome visitors: customers, contractors and guests to Prima.
This will be a job share role, whereby during planned holiday and absence periods of your colleague, hours will be adjusted accordingly, to meet the business needs, i.e. 9am until 3pm Monday to Friday.
Reception duties will include:
- Greet visitors, ensuring they sign in and out correctly
- Politely answering the reception telephone, direct calls to the correct department as well as finding out the reason for the call and why they are calling. Take messages for people if they are busy or not in the offices
- Always ensure the office appearance is kept clean and presentable
- Hosting - responsibility of hosting all external guests
- Ensuring the coffee machines and vending machines are fully maintained
- Organising gifts for customers at various times of the year for festivals such as Christmas, Eid, Chinese New Year (if applicable) and Iranian New Year
- Assist the head Receptionist in organising all events, throughout the year for our chosen charity
- Liaise with our external Marketing team, regarding posters, social media updates and flyers etc.
