Overview

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including branding, marketing materials, digital designs, and sales literature. Whilst our Junior Designer will largely be helping to support on the Pricecheck brand, there will be opportunity to work on tasks with some of our world-famous brands.

Location: Office/hybrid based - S20, Sheffield (2 days remote after probation)

What you'll be doing

You’ll join our Marketing team, working alongside our other designers and content creators, to assist in delivering engaging marketing materials which boost brand awareness and drive sales.

How you'll do it

• Work alongside the Marketing Manager and Senior Graphic Designer to create and develop a range of branded materials such as flyers, brochures, presentations and trade show collateral.
• Create regular assets for use on social media, including ad-hoc designs for international channels.
• Produce a weekly eCommerce mailer which showcases a brand or category.
• Develop motion graphics, GIFs and animation for company use.
• Assist in supporting the creation of the monthly internal newsletter.
• Adhering to internal and external brand guidelines and support the Senior Graphic Designer by ensuring all assets are consistent across all communications.
• Develop and provide sales aids to support both Sales and Buying Teams to push our 8,000 branded products, this will be across PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign and outputted into compressed PDF formats.
• Contributing to wider creative tasks when required such as Amazon Brand Registry artwork and new product development.
• Administrative support to the wider Graphic Design team such as sourcing product imagery.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required to support the need of the team and wider company.

What we're looking for

Essential requirements:

• Confident communicator (written and verbal).Good time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates adaptability – willing to learn/develop skillset and support where required.Demonstrates a natural creative side – confidence to come forward with new ideas.• Entry level knowledge of MS Office and Adobe based programmes, XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• A can-do attitude, with the willingness to step out of your comfort zone and support the wider team where needed.

Desirable requirements

• Experience in photography or videography would be advantageous.
