You will oversee the smooth running of the depot, based in Maidstone, ensuring targets are met and employees are managed. Taking responsibility for the daily operations of the branch and meeting / exceeding all customer expectations, whilst following all internal processes. Health & Safety is also part of this role, and it is the Depot managers responsibility to ensure the branch complies with all H&S regulations and operates safely. Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain agreed measurements for the Depot. Ensurecorrective action and plans are implemented if expectationsare not met.
- Regular team talks to communicate business updates and engagement.
- Maintain all company assets ensuring services are up to date to ensure compliance and safety.
- Lead, inspire and motivate the team into performance improvement.
- Ensure as a minimum requirement that all service level agreements for National and major local accounts must be always met.
- Responsible for efficient running of the depot including delegating tasks, support and management.
Qualifications
- Stock processes / Inventory management
- Strong leadership skills
- Route planning experience
