As an Investment Operations Manager II (F) - Derivatives within PNC's Investment Operations organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. This is a remote role, however, you will need to be based close to our hub in Pittsburgh or Cleveland and may be required to go in-person to the office on occasion. The Derivatives Payments Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end processing, control, and oversight of payment activity associated with OTC and cleared derivatives products, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of cash flows across global markets. This role manages a team of payment professionals, drives operational excellence, and partners closely with Trading, Operations, Treasury, Collateral Management, Technology, and external counterparties to resolve exceptions, mitigate risk, and support regulatory compliance. The manager is accountable for payment reconciliation, process improvement initiatives, control execution, and the development of scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, strengthen operational resiliency, and support business growth in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with deep knowledge of derivatives operations, settlement processes, and financial market infrastructure.This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Executes operating plan and communicates strategy to operations team. Responsible for two or more functions across one or more sites, or may manage a complex product, function or location. Manages managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors. May participate in industry forums.Manages and is responsible for achieving desired business results. Acts as a senior point of escalation and resolves exceptions related to complex processes and/or product support. Reviews and provides oversight on end to end processes of varying risk and financial value. Interacts with customers and/or third parties to drive business results and resolve escalated issues.Provides coaching and development to team members, supervisors and/or managers. Leads staff meetings, communicates the strategic direction and translates into tactical operating plans.Provides consultation and advice to service partners and customers. Identifies and influences strategic improvement initiatives and serves as a representative or a project sponsor for operations group on projects. Develops, reviews and/or approves standard operating procedures as appropriate. Recommends and/or drives policy improvements.Oversees and/or owns the control framework for unit(s) of responsibility.
