I’m on the hunt for a tenacious, hungry and dedicated credit controller to manage a ledger of customers and keep this company’s debtor days as low as possible!
You will manage an extensive ledger on a day to day basis to ensure maximum cash collection whilst retaining customer relations and allowing the Finance Director to produce a cash flow forecast.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in credit control, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build relationships with customers as you will be the sole person responsible for this function, whilst being supported by the rest of the transactional finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively chase outstanding invoices and payments from customers
- Resolve any disputes or issues with customers regarding payments
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage timely payments
- Monitor and report on customer payment trends and identify potential risks
- Work closely with other teams within the company to ensure accurate billing and invoicing
- Maintain accurate records of all collections activities and customer interactions
