This year we launched our new mobile website, updating the look and feel and increasing conversion, with the desktop version soon to follow. The company is profitable and was founded in 2009 by former lastminute.com staff with a background in the holiday park sector.
You will join a nimble team of 70 based in 10 countries, all working from home, as we are a 100% remote business.
Our site has been featured in leading global media titles, such as BBC News, New York Times, Le Figaro, and more, and has been translated into 17 languages. We’re members of the Financial Times' FT1000 fastest growing companies in Europe and recently were awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Award by Feefo, for achieving a customer rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 for 3 years in a row.
We are excited to hire our first Lead Researcher, to join Pitchup at a critical stage of UK and global growth. In this role you will bring sense into our sales lead generation process, formalising the process to deliver a functioning sales funnel for our Sales Consultants across the globe. Additionally, you will collaborate with our marketing and data teams to create lead automation processes.
About the role, you will …

• Own campsite lead research process for sales and marketing, collecting data from multiple sources. This would also involve market research/trend analysis in order to select the best prospects
• Analyse and report on lead creation and management performance
• Take into account ideal lead profiles based on job designations, size of organisation and other attributes
• Keep abreast of the supply structure (e.g. major groups) in our main markets
• Continually improve the lead creation process, automating as much as possible, using in-house and third-party solutions, while maintaining quality
• Manage and maintain lead data in Salesforce and other applications
• Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management
• Contribute towards better sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools

About you:

• You will have a track record of building a sustainable sales lead generation/sourcing process within a scaling business
• Familiarity with translating sales strategies into system and process requirements, with demonstrable business impact
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with an understanding of Salesforce highly desirable
• Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on non-role-specific duties as needed to support the team and business
• Strong data management and analytical abilities
• An innate drive to innovate and optimise the use of available resources

• The ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
• SQL skills

Salary: 28-32k base depending on experience
