Based in Bristol UK, PADI EMEA have anopening for a Global Digital Advertising Specialist, working with the Global Consumer Marketing team and reporting to the Global Paid and Marketing Analytics Manager.

The role is full time and whilst the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Bristol office for in-person training and Company In-Office Days, there is an option for the role to be fully remote.

THE ROLE

The Global Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for managing and executing PADI’s paid advertising campaigns while working to hit global and regional key performance indicators.

This position also helps to develop a successful digital advertising strategy by evaluating the effectiveness of current campaigns and programs and recommending changes to improve engagement and conversion, with a view to achieving optimal balance on Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) and brand awareness goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Contribute to the development of overall media strategies for paid digital media plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, etc.)

Execute the performance marketing team’s strategy through paid search, display and social channels (e.g. Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to drive awareness and maximize revenue in order to support growth objectives.

Optimise campaigns through testing with a focus on improving efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with creative teams to develop and produce content assets (banner ads, video ads, landing pages, etc.) that will increase engagement and conversions.

Develop acquisition strategies that introduce prospective customers to the full PADI Experience, including PADI products like PADI eLearning, PADI Travel, Certfication Cards, etc.

Work in collaboration with Sr. Manager of Global Performance Marketing and PADI Media Group to strategise, execute and track sponsored advertising on social channels.

Strategise, execute and optimise digital marketing campaigns for local regions in multiple languages.

Maintain organisation of digital calendars and production workflows in order to stay on schedule and hit deadlines.

Identify trends, insights and innovations in the industry; stay abreast of competitors’ evolving digital strategies.

Hit paid advertising revenue and profitability goals across different business units set forth by the PADI organisation, maintaining KPIs for the Paid program, including reduction of cannibalisation from branded terms.

Work with analytics team to provide the marketing team with the necessary analytics to deliver insights that impact marketing decisions, optimisations and investments.

Provide guidance on campaign performance reporting and analytics to internal teams

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in buying and optimising digital ads.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics 360, and paid advertising on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Experience in Sponsored Content Marketing.
  • Experience in conversion optimisation with a preferred focus in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, analyse and report on necessary data points, and derived insights.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Innovative thinker, with proactive attitude.
  • Clear analytical capabilities and data-driven approach
  • Excellent organisation, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SEM and SEO.
  • Strong communication and copy writing skills.
  • Technically savvy and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Scuba diving certification is advantageous, but not essential.
