Acorn Education and Care are currently hiring Care Workers in Nottingham!
Role: Residential Childcare Worker
Salary: Up to £26,201.60 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, varied shift patterns)
Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

- Sleep ins paid at £45.00 per night
- Funded qualifications: starting with working towards a funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare qualification. (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)

The Opportunity
Our next Children’s Care Worker will be someone who has:

- The ability to become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
- The willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care
Some of your duties would be as follows
- Supporting the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our children and young people in tasks and activities
Acorn Education and Care, part of Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our team in the Nottinghamshire region.
Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
Becca House is based in Nottingham and is within commuting distance from Mansfield, Derby and surrounding towns and villages.
