JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

We’re looking for candidates who have varying levels of Business Analysis experience that can effectively and efficiently manage the definition, analysis, delivery and maintenance of business, project management and system requirements. They’ll support transformation and change, predominately within the financial services sector. With minimal supervision, the incumbent will work with stakeholders and interpret business needs and issues, effectively translating them into actionable requirements. This individual will apply business process knowledge of assigned functions with proven analytical and problem-solving skills to maximise the benefit of IT systems.

Essential Functions

  • Experience working within Financial Services/ Capital Market, as a Business Analyst and/or in a hybrid role capacity as a Business Analyst.
  • Change Management Methodology – proven delivery experience working in a project environment with different methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Requirements Gathering – the ability to produce a structured functional specification, including experience of User Story. proven ability to run effective workshops for client business user
  • Records and reports test results and validates solution meets objectives and delivers business benefit.
  • Performs activities which include status reporting to the senior management and expertise in Project Plan, Finance management and Change Management systems

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of financial Systems and work experience with Banking.
  • Ability to work with a variety of complex non-functional or professional work activities
  • Develop business relationships with customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and produce/maintain supporting documentation.
  • Resolves simple to complex system problems
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Assist in quality control, delivery of maintenance of business and system requirements.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience
  • Experience in assigned function’s finance business process and supporting systems with the capability to become proficient in the job.
  • Understanding of the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
  • Has a good understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management and software testing, and testing events throughout the development life-cycle
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project Plan Tools like Microsoft Project Server (MSPS) and CA clarity PPSM
  • Exposure to business process modelling and simulation tools

Job Type: Permanent
