Construction Delivery Manager

Optimum Skills are a leading training provider delivering Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Pre-employment, and Commercial Training.

Due to our ongoing success and growth, Optimum Skills are excited to advertise for a Curriculum Co-Ordinator to join our Construction Academy team across Gateshead and Newcastle.

The role

· Scheduling of training courses to ensure training plan is delivered.

· Responsibility for coordination of compliant, timely paperwork.

· Activity planning and timetables with the pre apprenticeship and commercial tutors.

· Hold delivery team meetings with effective actions.

· Ensure KPIs are met.

· Update monthly and quarterly reports as required.

· Assist with the coordination, creation and implementation of learning material.

· Source training resources and liaise with external training providers where necessary.

· Work with the quality team to review internal training offering, ensuring its fit for purpose and make recommendations for improvement.

· Assist with the development of our business development strategy and resources to promote our offering.

· Provide cover for the delivery team and be able to deliver commercial training when required.

· Maintain effective relationships across the business, working with colleagues to ensure high levels of engagement and a high-quality service is offered.

· Manage a small team of tutors ensuring that KPI’s are achieved.

The person

· Knowledge of the construction industry and local needs

· Passionate about sharing your knowledge and skills, developing and leading a small team of tutors.

· Organised and innovative with the drive to grow our offering.

· Previous team leading desirable.

· Teaching qualifications are desirable or willingness to work towards.

· Ability to liaise with stakeholders and people of all levels.
