We are looking to recruit hard working, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services Team located at Royal Oldham Hospital to work
Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 14:45 = 35hrs
Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 15:15 - 37.5hrs
Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 15:15 - 37.5hrs
Thurs & Fri - 06:00 - 14:15= 15hrs
The successful post holders will be part of a team working within our Estates & Facilities department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer focused service. The Domestic Assistant is an important member of the team who helps provide a range of duties across the hospital in a professional manner.
Successful post holders will be required to carry out specific cleaning and other related duties to set procedures and standards. You will be required to work as part of a team and have the ability to use a degree of initiative to prioritise and organise the daily duties, whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. Working in a care or hospital environment and cleaning experience is essential although full training will be given. NVQ 1 in building cleaning or willingness to work towards is desirable. Staff uniform will be provided. Our vision is to provide safe, high quality seamless services delivered with courtesy and respect.

The place where the world’s first IVF baby was delivered, Oldham is a town of pioneering firsts. Today, Oldham is responsible for delivering a range of acute and community health services across the local area and at The Royal Oldham Hospital. As a designated major trauma unit for Greater Manchester and one of only three vascular centres in Greater Manchester, Oldham is a specialist hospital for acute surgery and provides state-of-the-art onsite pathology services to the North West.
