New Balance are offering a 1 year paid internship to an undergraduate student, currently in penultimate year of study, with a passion for Marketing and Football. The role will support the Global Football Brand Marketing team in their work to deliver global football campaigns across players, clubs and products Training and support will be given and you will gain a broad knowledge of a global business.This placement opportunity will start on Monday 3rd July 2023 and will be based in the Head Office (Warrington) full time.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Social Media and Paid Media
- Provide input and insight into NB football social content plans across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. Plus emerging social media platforms
- Support on uploading social content to our asset management portal Widen
- Support of launch summaries by creating reports to detail key social media stats and metrics
- Support on community engagement across channels
- Attend and creatively input into weekly and monthly social media meetings
- Support on the paid distribution activity and reporting
- Support in reviewing the media landscape and suggesting ideas for media partnerships
Product, Photoshoots and Communication
- Support on ordering and organising product for photoshoots and support at photoshoots
- Data entry taking responsibility to upload key information such as launch dates and product styles
- Managing our ongoing consumer research, alongside our creative agency on a bi-weekly basis
- Support on seeding of product to friends of the brand
- Support across the grassroots projects and manage product deliveries for the projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Studying towards a Bachelors degree in a relevant subject:
- Marketing or Business
- Must be able to provide right to work in the UK
- Strong passion for football and the football industry with proven interest in the sport
- Experience in and strong interest in using social media platforms including TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, BeReal and YouTube
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to cope in a fast paced environment
- Continuous improvement mindset with desire to take on new projects and development opportunities
- High level of attention to detail and a team player
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Results driven - follows through to conclusion on all projects/commitments
- Some travel may be required
