Food & Beverage Team Member

Step inside this deceptively large house quietly tucked away on an historic site in the heart of the city. Built on an ancient Eboracum road in which the cafe sits, it has many, visible layers of history including the site of the former house of the Treasurer to York Minster. This property works closely with nearby National Trust Goddards.

This will be working between two properties - Goddards and Treasurers' House.

The Hours: Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns available. The role will require weekend hours, average shift is working 4 - 6 hours per day but again we would discuss your availability upon successful completion of your application.

Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, however it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible and discuss this with you.

The Salary: £10.50 per hour

Duration: This is a fixed term position until 31st October 2023, with the possibility of extension or permanent position

What you'll be doing:With your love of working with people, positive attitude, and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet.

Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.

You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
