AWS Architect - Home Based (UK Only)

As one of the UK’s fastest growing MSPs, we’re on the lookout for an AWS Architect to be an integral part of our customer's cloud journey!

Location: Home-based

Salary: Competitive base + benefits

Job Type: Permanent

As an AWS Architect you will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer stakeholders to drive cloud deployment!

Daily you will be working with AWS looking after our customer workloads, working with sales teams, and designing solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements. You will be an experienced Architect and be willing to support with pre-sales engagements when necessary. We are looking for an AWS ambassador to evangelise cloud concepts both within Nasstar and with our customers!

Responsibilities:

• Working with the customer to understand their business needs and requirements.
• Analysis, architecture, and design of AWS environments.
• Document salutations and designs for working in a collaborative manner.
• Clear communication of design decisions to other architects and infrastructure engineers.
• Ability to create designs with hybrid cloud, cloud migrations, application modernisation, application development and integration services.

About you:

The ideal person will hold at least an associate certification on AWS and demonstrable experience architecting in AWS that uses enterprise level resources. That said you'll have deep technical experience in cloud design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, security, networking, connectivity, storage and IAM.

This a delivery focused role so you will have the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines. You will be comfortable and have a history of working directly with customers as part of a pre-sales process. Naturally, you will have strong written and oral communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts with ease.
