Our Belfast marketplace team is growing, we are looking for dedicated and driven individuals to help us continue our success in winning the EIQA award (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) Belfast only. We have the following exciting opportunities available:
General Assistants;
- 20 hour flex contracts available (you can flex up to work more hours a week if you want)
The Role
As the general assistant you will be responsible for handling cash, customer service, checkout operations and car parking duties. You will also have responsibility for merchandising & display and general housekeeping duties. This is an exciting opportunity to join Musgrave Market place, recognised as ‘Store of the Year 2020’

The successful candidate will have the skills to communicate effectively, have the ability to work to deadlines, work well on own initiative, work as part of a team and maintain a confident, enthusiastic, and approachable manner whilst maintaining a high standard of Customer Service. The job requires a high degree of physical fitness in order handle large and heavy cases of produce.
Previous experience in a busy retail/ food retail/ wholesale environment and cash handling experience would be advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.
