National Account Manager

Mpeople recruitment have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced National Account Manager to join a thriving manufacturing business based in the Stockport area, on a full-time permanent basis.

• Role: National Account Manager
• Location: Stockport
• Salary: Starting salary at £40,000
• Hours: 36.25 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 5pm and Friday 8:45am-3pm

Duties as a National Account Manager will include but not be limited to:

· Managing national accounts and licenced accounts for the business brand based in the UK.

· Seeking new business opportunities to expand clientele.

· Responsible for costings, negotiations, budgeting and forecasting of sales.

· Building relationships by being the main point of contact for customers and providing information regarding new products and offers.

· Ensure customer orders are received and within the allocated timeframe.

· Liaising with Marketing, Product Development, Accounts, Customer Service, Logistics and Products Development etc.

· Maintaining accurate customer records, dealing with outstanding debts and providing next level customer service.

· Completing market research to ensure correct products are in place.

· Travelling across the UK and attending trade shows overseas.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

· National Account Management experience.

· Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.

· Proven experience of working within a Sales environment.

· The ability to operate CRM software and Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

· Hold a UK Driving Licence
