Motus Commercials is an approved DAF Commercial Vehicle dealership located in Derby and is on the lookout for a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Parts Apprentice to become a fully qualified Parts Advisor. As our new Apprentice, you will join our friendly Team which will see you working 5 days a week 08.00am to 16.30pm in our approved DAF dealership Parts Department.

Starting date for this role would be July/August

We receive a high volume of Brilliant candidates for our apprenticeships and we thank each and every one of you for taking the time to apply. We are looking to recruit an Apprentice to join the friendly Team to become a Parts Advisor with us at Motus Commercials DAF in Derby. In the UK Motus Commercials holds £13 million pounds worth of Commercial Vehicle Parts and we wish to recruit an apprentice who will share our passion to provide the best possible service to our customers and to keep those vehicles on the road.

What Will You Be Doing?

Motus Commercials in Derby is an approved DAF Dealership and are hiring a new Commercial Vehicle Parts Apprentice who can learn:

• To undertake hands on training within the Parts Department by working with your nominated mentor.
• Identify the internal and external customer vehicle parts requirements using state of the art manufacturer systems to keep the wheels on the industry turning
• Stock management to maintain correct stock profiles for customer requirements
• To develop an understanding of seasonal products and develop first class customer service to upsell these products as your knowledge expands
• To understand key performance targets and support your colleagues and team to achieve them
• To understand and provide excellent customer service through various communication methods
• To become a Brilliant Team member within the Parts Department
• To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing alongside some of our already Brilliant fully skilled Parts Advisors.
• To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
• To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the parts department.
• To enjoy your time as a Brilliant Colleague within Motus Commercials.

Who Are We Looking for?

• We are looking an apprentice to join our friendly Team who can demonstrate:
• Enthusiasm, commitment, and confidence
• An analytical and methodical way of thinking - previous interests in engineering and technology
• Being highly motivated with an eye for detail.
• That they are driven by their own initiative
• An excellent communicator with the ability to maintain positive relationships.
• Minimum grade C / 5 in English and Maths is preferred.
