We are a start up Dental & Facial Aesthetics practice looking to do things differently in the dental sector. We will be carrying out general dentistry, facial aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry, invisalign and children's dentistry in a relaxing holistic environment.

We are looking for a Dental Nurse with Reception duties to join us on our journey to grow our practice, in East Sheen, SW14 area in London. As we are starting up we need someone to carry out both roles to start with, there is then an option to decide which role you want to take on going forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing the surgery for dental treatments, ensuring that all equipment and instruments are clean and have been sterilised.
• Assisting the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials as needed.
• Providing chairside support during dental procedures, including suctioning, retraction, and mixing materials.
• Providing patients with pre- and post-operative care advice, including advice on oral hygiene and diet.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and taking notes during dental appointments.
• Processing and managing dental laboratory work, including sending and receiving cases and ensuring that they are tracked and organised.
• Assisting with front desk duties such as greeting patients, answering the phone, scheduling appointments and processing payments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be GDC registered.
• Completed dental nurse training program or equivalent certification.
• Experience working as a dental nurse in a dental practice is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to use dental software.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following strict infection control protocols.

Hours:

Full-time Mon-Fri 8am- 5pm. Flexibilty in work hours initally required until we ascertain the best working hours for the area. Alternate Saturdays 9am-1pm
