There are plenty of home delivery services out there; but Milk & More is different. Based on the long-standing British icon – the milk delivery person, we pride ourselves on being at the heart of communities across the country and are committed to working with local producers. Milk & More continue to forge a strong path in eco-friendly deliveries and now have the UK’s largest fleet of electric vehicles.
We are currently making over 1.2 million deliveries every week and in these challenging times, our customers are relying on us now more than ever. As a business we need to continue to do our part in #feedthenation, delivering over 200 essential products overnight to customers doorsteps by 7am. This role you will be responsible for the bulk delivery of milk and dairy products to commercial and retail premises with all deliveries to be made within the designated time slot.
Please note this opportunity will be permanently based in Watford. However, 2 months worth of training will be in Dagenham (we will pay a travel supplement).
Key Responsibilities:
- 5 Nights per week – Monday – Friday 40 hours per week/ Finish
- Bulk delivery of milk and dairy products to commercial and retail premises
- All deliveries to be made within the designated time slot
- All deliveries are expected to be made in a timely manner and logged appropriately on the ERB (Electronic Rounds Book)
- The role involves loading and unloading the vehicle and liaison with Centre Operative to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled
- Ensure that all communications with customers are undertaken in a highly professional and competent manner
- To ensure, at all times, that service levels are maintained in line with customer service standards. Milk & More strives to Deliver its Customer Promise to all its customers
- The role involves loading and unloading your delivery vehicle
- Responsible for ordering products as necessary to meet customer requirements
- You will be an ambassador for Milk & More delivery function
- To undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Operations Manager
Challenges:

- Learning and delivering multiple rounds
- Holidays to be taken outside of term time only
- Flexibility required when working during non-term times
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- No experience required as all training will be provided
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence appropriate to the vehicle type (B, C or Class 2)
- Maximum 6 points on driving licence accepted
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills – you will be instrumental behind a Milk & More delivery which takes place over night
- Must be comfortable working alone and able to work nights
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
Hours, Salary & Company Benefits:
- Salary of £ 22,596.00 per annum
