As a Sales Assistant you will provide a complete shopping experience for our customers, which involves product knowledge and a positive “can do” attitude.
The Role
- Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store
- Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store by using open questions
- Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries; If the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer
- Understand the returns policy and use it as a positive selling tool
- Apply the above standards to all phone inquiries
- Through visual merchandising, create a retail environment that is innovative, unique and customer friendly. Maintain and grow the store’s visual personality to reflect the area in which it is located
- Re-merchandise displays, point of sale, and select areas of the store regularly so as to maximize product sell through
- Demonstrate great till operations, cash handling, banking and associated administration
- Inform shop managers of any issues or noncompliance regarding all policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Management
