Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Sparking Clog and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Sparking Clog is a thriving community pub situated within a large suburb of Radcliff on a main road to and from Bolton.

It functions via a central bar and benefits from a pizza deck, large beer garden and terrace as well as kids play equipment. There is also a full sports and entertainment offering with strong weekend 'big night out' trade.

The pub has been well managed but has sales potential to grow the food side of the business and increase mid week trading, function trade, and activity base.

This is the largest pub in the area with the best facilities and benefits from heavy footfall throughout the trading week. The Sparking Clog is a trusted events provider with a good reputation within the local area and driven through community engagement.

The site has a full team in place, and there is live in accommodation available in the form of a separate 3 bed house attached to the back of the pub.
