Senior Clinical Trials Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breast Oncology Research Team as a Clinical Trials Co-Ordinator for 12 months, covering administrative and coordination aspects of breast oncology clinical research. As a key member of the team, you will support the delivery and management of the Breast Oncology Research Team portfolio, working alongside both clinical and administrative members of staff.

You will support our dynamic research team and get involved in many aspects of our research studies. You will actively contribute to the performance and delivery of the team by ensuring you provide administrative support in a proactive, timely and efficient manner. You will help us to maintain our status as one of the leading NHS Trusts in the UK and have the chance to work with a team with extensive research experience. Line management experience would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be offered either a B5-B6 development or B6 post dependent on experience.

The post holdermaybe required to work cross site, across our research campuses.

The main duties will involve research study management and coordination, line management, study set-up, assisting the Clinical Trials Manager with the delivery and targets of the Breast Oncology portfolio and ensure financial arrangements, study payments, contract payment schedules are adhered to.

The role will work closely with the Clinical Trials Manager and Research Nurse Manager to implement new studies within the Breast Oncology hub and ensure all amendments, study timelines and approvals are coordinated within MFT. The role will communicate with study sponsors, Principal Investigators, clinical teams, R&I research office and the sponsorship team at MFT.
