Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Sales Associate to join our Megastore team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the team in delivering the successful day to day operation of the Megastore, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is maintained. The Sales Associate will focus predominantly on our personalisation service, utilising their pro-active sales ability to connect our customers to our products, and exceed their individual sales targets.

The successful candidate will support the team in delivering the successful day to day operation of the Megastore, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is maintained. The Sales Associate will focus predominantly on our personalisation service, utilising their pro-active sales ability to connect our customers to our products, and exceed their individual sales targets.
The Role:
The key responsibilities of the post are:
- To ensure every Megastore customer receives the highest standard of customer experience.
- To utilise customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.
- Build the bond between the customer and Manchester united by providing superior service.
- Maintain knowledge of all various store departments and be able to operate cash register, Shirt printing machines, re-plenish the sales floor and perform general house-keeping duties.
- Assist the fulltime team in the day to day running of the department.
The Person:
- Previous experience working within a fast paced, high volume retail environment.
- Previous experience working within a pro-active sales environment.
- Previous experience working within a customer facing role.
- Experience managing stock take processes and procedures.
- Previous shirt printing experience
- A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to focus on results and continuous improvements.
- An ability to maintain high standards of store presentation and customer experience in a high volume fast paced environment.
- An ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
Hours of Work
The employee is required to work 40 hours per week, based on a working week of Monday to Sunday. Additional hours and/or days may be required from time to time.
