Head of Global Procurement

Opportunity for an experienced Global Head of Procurement to work with a small supply chain team operating strategically alongside ambitious and entrepreneurial management in a rapidly expanding business.

Specific Responsibilities:

• To identify and improve existing procurement processes and controls within the company.
• The Head of Procurement will provide commercial leadership to help define, drive, implement and deliver on strategic objectives, business plans and budgets.
• To identify and improve existing commercial agreements within the business, whilst undertaking a continual review of pricing to ensure protection and sustained growth in margin for all current and future product ranges.
• To identify new product opportunities from inception and design through to sourcing and fulfilment, ensuring that the business continues to lead and innovate.
• Quantify the likely financial impact of key strategic, tactical, and commercial decisions, including investments in people, product development and alternative sourcing channels.
• To produce management information, KPIs and budgeting regularly.
• Attending and representing the brand at global trade shows.
• Fostering and strengthening existing and future supplier and manufacturer relationships.
• To work closely with the senior leadership team on strategic procurement planning.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development for the supply chain team.
• Keep the senior leadership team abreast of key developments and seek timely input and buy-in as appropriate.

• Experience of working within an e-commerce and/or internationally-focused manufacturing business is highly desirable.
• Experience of working in a homeware's, specifically kitchens and bathrooms is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
