ABOUT THE POST

The role is to be a member of the Income collection team ensuring that
unpaid debts within the assigned area are chased for payment in
accordance with the University's credit policy.

The ideal candidate will have previous finance experience and is able to
chase a payment whilst demonstrating a high level of customer service.
If you have excellent communication skills, able to work methodically
with a high attention to detail, then this could be an excellent
opportunity for you.

You will assist on the effective and efficient administration of all
income due to the University from students, commercial and other
customers. You will assist with the ongoing reconciliation of customer
accounts, ensuring that they are a complete, accurately recorded and
that all income is correctly allocated with debts are minimised. You
will provide a high level of customer service to customers and
colleagues across the University, ensuring that the University is both
transparent and accountable in the way it deals with its customers.

You will be an experienced credit controller with an interest in the
Higher Education Sector. You will have experience of resolving fees and
funding issues and reconciling complex financial records. You will
possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be confident
in liaising with external collection/legal agencies as appropriate. You
will enjoy a busy collaborative work environment. A qualification in the
area of credit control is desirable.
