London Insider is a UK-based news publication, primarily serving readers in the United Kingdom.
We are looking to hire a number of remote News Writers on a part-time and full-time basis.
The Role
- Writing several 300-400 word news articles per shift, on a variety of topics.
- Proofreading your work and taking onboard feedback from the Editor.
- Pitching your own ideas for articles, including news pieces and features.
- Inputting your articles into our content management system (WordPress).
- Conducting interviews to add experts' insight to feature articles.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have excellent English proficiency.
Additionally, you’ll need to be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of your work.
Previous journalism experience is not strictly required, but is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £31,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
