Job Description LEYF offer the Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeships where you can Learn how to prepare nutritious and tasty meals for children in nurseries, work in a nurturing environment with a team and mentor that support you in a way that works for you. Course will start in March. Many of our apprentices are aged 16 to 18, but you can be an apprentice at any age. Essential A positive attitude! Excited to work in a nursery preparing healthy and delicious food for children and running food-related activities with them. Desired Strong desire to influence positive change when required through modelling the LEYF values; Brave, Fun, Inspiring and Nurturing. About the Nursery Rated Good by Ofsted, Playhouse Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in Fordham Park, close to New Cross and New Cross Gate stations. We’re a spacious, modern nursery, with separate rooms and gardens for different age groups. Children can try many different activities from science experiments to traditional cooking, world music, yoga, construction, sensory play and much more!
