Job Description
We have an opportunity for a strong candidate to become a member of the leadership team in Product Reporting and Information (PRI). We are a supportive, development focused, dedicated team that delivers accurate, timely and informative Financial Reporting for the Retail Division, with this role particularly focusing on Consumer Lending Product Reporting.
Would you like a role that uses both financial and stakeholder skills? Do you want to drive forward the culture and delivery in the Lending reporting team for our key lending product areas?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then our Senior Manager role could be the next role for you. We have an integral role in the communication to the Retail Finance Leadership team on the Reporting of Management Accounts, Ledger and Technical Accounting support as well as driving forward our key strategic projects.
The PRI Team supports Retail Product Finance Teams and operates a dynamic resourcing structure that allows exposure to the lending Business Units. You will benefit from a wide-ranging view of the Retail business, which provides an excellent opportunity to increase your breadth of knowledge across LBG.
We deliver accurate, timely and informative month-end reporting for the key Product areas in Retail, with this role primarily supporting the Mortgages, Credit Cards, and Loans businesses within Consumer Lending.
A focus on financial control is important, along with the skills to interpret financial data and collaborate closely with business partners.
Customer needs are one of the team’s top priorities. The team's key customers are:
Retail Finance Director
Divisional Finance
Product Business Partners
Analysis and Insight teams
So - what will you be doing...
  • Leading, developing, and championing your team (of 10 colleagues) to deliver a high-performance mentality and encouraging them to embrace stretching development objectives.
  • Supporting your team in providing insightful, high quality management accounting reports, executing control, and operating as a management accounting specialist support across Consumer Lending and the individual products.
  • Build a wide network of contacts across Finance, with collaboration between teams being the key to your success in the role.
  • Respond to individual and team objectives and invest in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities and coaching others.
You'll need to...
  • Be curious - don't accept the status quo. Challenge the way we currently do things and look for ways we can improve them.
  • Be able to work collaboratively and enjoy working with stakeholders from different areas.
  • Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can both challenge and support senior customers.
If this is you, come and join our inclusive, values-led culture where we're passionate about making a difference! We’re dedicated to giving you opportunities and the support to develop you both professionally and personally to optimise your potential.
As a new colleague to the team, you’ll join us on our journey to build a 21st century bank that reflects modern Britain and craft an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel encouraged and valued. We’re also passionate about diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. Together we’re building a truly inclusive workplace where all our colleagues can make a real difference, can be themselves and succeed on merit.

With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
