Job Description
Quality Engineers

Location: Halifax, or Manchester based with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week

Salary & Benefits: £41, 715 - £46350 GBP base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), private medical insurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
We also offer flexible working hours, agile working practices and regular home working.
Here in Consumer Business we have been hiring Returners since 2020; we hugely value the experience, drive and motivation they bring to our organisation and we’re so pleased to be back with more opportunities to join our growing teams.
Read on for more information about our team and the role we have available. If you do decide to apply, please include a cover letter outlining your motivation/reasons for applying. CVs are great but it’s also useful for us to learn more about YOU as well as your previous experience.
So who are we?
We are the business unit that continues to digitise and transform our customer products and services – and we have an enormous remit.
So the award-winning Banking App? That’s us.
Digital mortgage applications – us again.
Online Financial wellbeing support for customers who need it – yep, you guessed it!
And that’s not everything. We have teams working on preventing financial crime; enhancing the Everyday Banking experiences of our customers; transforming the ways our customers apply for loans - we are the customer-centric Business Unit.
We are looking for curious, methodical Quality Engineers to join us in delivering a leading customer experience. If getting to the bottom of how something works (or perhaps more crucially, doesn’t work!) is your nature, then please apply.
What we'd love you to have experience-wise
  • A Quality Engineering background with a knowledge of Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools.
  • Experience in defining Quality Engineering work & producing Testing artefacts.
  • The ability to learn and develop technical skills (building test automation solutions)
  • An interest and knowledge of the latest DevOps practices and tools
Why Return to a career with LBG?

To support you with it, we’ll also provide a 12-week programme crafted to help you restore your skills, regain your confidence and learn more about the way we work as an organisation.
Together we’ll make it possible.
About working at LBG
We’ve embraced hybrid working and flex between working from home and the Halifax & Manchester offices. And while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request, we’re happy to have a conversation about what hours might work for you. Please be aware that we’re currently asking our colleagues to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
We also have the scale to provide you with ongoing opportunities to develop and achieve a rewarding and fulfilling career.
We're also passionate about diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. And, being disability positive, reasonable adjustments can be accommodated in our Recruitment process.
So if you qualify and you're ready to dust off those hard-won skills then get in touch and apply today! Let’s see where our Lloyds Banking Group Returners can take you...
At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
