You love coffee. You REALLY love coffee.

We’re looking for a Supervisor to join the team at our recently extended coffee shop in Hamilton Square.

Working alongside the General Manager you will have responsibility for:

- Selling coffee as well as preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cakes.

- Day-to-day operation of the coffee bar, implementing procedures and impeccable hygiene standards to which the team will work to.

- Placing supplier orders and select the suppliers based on best value, quality and service.

- Training staff on all aspects of coffee making & shop management, manage staff hours and handle internal staffing issues.

- Generating revenues by attracting new customers; identifying new trends and expanding our services and products.

- Displaying the highest customer service standards and implementing them throughout the team

- Working alongside the resident chef to maximise food revenue and educate customers on our food offering

- Daily tasks involved in running the shop, such as clear down and cleaning at the end of the shift

You will possess a minimum 1 year experience within the coffee industry, preferably within a senior role. This is a growing business so the ability to “muck-in” and approach team work with humour as well as leadership are essential.

This is a part time position with an average of 20 hours per week.

Current trading days are Monday to Sunday, flexibility around this is compulsory.

Pay rate to be agreed based on experience.
