Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics/Warehouse/Dispensing Operative to join our team at LGC Bellshill, we are a market leader within the life-science sector.

As a Dispensing Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the processes and controls around packing and dispensing and operations that are conducted in a controlled environment. You will work closely with stakeholders involved in providing packed finished goods for distribution to internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing powders and oils from larger bulk containers into finished goods packaging, packing smaller columns with materials, and ensuring proper measurement of materials. You will follow shop order instructions for packing and dispensing and adhere to SOP's put in place for all processes. You will locate bulk materials in warehouse inventory, put stock away in proper locations after used for packing and dispensing, and perform inventory counting for stock takes and cycle counts.

As part of this role, you will also be responsible for physical movement of goods adhering to proper manual handling techniques, cleaning workstations after use, and always observing company EH&S requirements. You will communicate with internal departments for status updates for incoming and outgoing shipments and support other logistics departments such as shipping, goods-in, and inventory control.

To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work as a team, possess excellent attention to detail and be flexible to changing priorities. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and have a flexible approach with working hours during periods of high demand or major change. Experience within Manufacturing experience and manual handling devices is desirable.
