Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our friendly team
Previous recent (within the last 2 years) GP Practice experience (minimum of 1 year working as a GP Practice receptionist) and EMIS web clinical system experience is essential. Salary is negotiable based on experience as GP practice recepionist and includes NHS Pension.
This is a permanent role for a full time or part time receptionist who can work 20 - 30 hours/week and must be available to do both morning and afternoon/evening shifts. Your main location of work will be at Leamore GP, but you may also be required to work/cover at our sister branch, New Road GP, if needed to cover for annual leave/sickness etc. Own transport is essential for this role.
Receptionist work is between the hours of 08:00-18:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 till 13:00 on Fridays. Being also able to work extended hours between 0700-0800, if needed, is also essential. We are looking for a capable individual who is able to multi task and work well under pressure.
Main Duties:
Responsibilities include and not limited to answering Telephone calls, Making appointments, Patient Registration Forms, Filling Medical Records, Scanning Correspondence, Process Prescription requests, Referrals, Cover duties for other member of staff in case of sickness and holidays, Attend Practice meetings and others.
