WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Hands-on development, code reviews and application architecture
- Involved in technical design, development, testing support and be required to interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Perform coding to written technical specs
- Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
- Perform maintenance programming correction of identified defects
- Create, document, implement unit test plans, scripts, test harnesses
- Create technical documents using defined technical documentation templates
- Supervise, assist and mentor other developers, lead regular stand ups
- Experience of working on the hybris platform essential
- Java/J2EE experience
- Programming EJB,JSP,XML,OR SQL
- Knowledge of web services, Javascript or Jboss application server
- Knowledge of hibernate, Spring, Struts
- Proficient in hybris WCMS,Cockpits,Cron jobs, internationalization,personalization,security concepts REST
- Experience hybris Multichannel Suite 5.x
- Knowledge of database architecture design
- Some R&D Requirements
- Knowledge of and experience in vanilla JavaScript and jQuery
- Knowledge of and experience in HTML 5, CSS 3, web layout design and RWD implementation.
- Practical experience in working with tools and frameworks, like Bootstrap, Gulp/Grunt, Bower/npm, Webpack, NodeJS, Babel
- Familiar with GIT and Continuous Integration practices
- Practical experience in REST-full applications development
- Solid understanding of cross-platform browser compatibility issues.
- Knowledge of human factors and innovative user interface methodologies, understanding of usability issues, experience in relevant standards.
- Experience in design and implementation of localized web sites.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Previous experience as a Back End Developer
- Demonstrable experience of developing applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
- Good experience with Java development
- Strong Spring MVC knowledge
