We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in Manchester. Within this role, you can enjoy you can enjoy remote working, flexible hours and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities and even more.


Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working within the Commercial team in supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities.

Your day to day will include:

  • Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Groups policies for risk management

  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports, value works executed by Sub-Contractors and certify interim and final payments.

  • Assist the team with commercial and contractual expertise


Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Sureyor is great for you if:

  • Proven experience in managing the commercials over the full project lifecycle in education, commercial, leisure, healthcare, Ministry of Defence, and mixed-use projects

  • Experience in both JCT & NEC forms of contracts
