SPT Systems have extensive experience in manufacturing and delivering regional, national and global construction projects at all levels.
Manufacturing Structural Insulated Panels for all building requirements from holiday lodges to new builds, we provide an Integrated Build System – the easy solution to faster, stronger, highly thermally efficient and airtight buildings. Our SIPs Building Kits are manufactured on site and then shipped to customers and our factories to be constructed.
Description
We are looking to recruit a Quality/Stores Person to join our growing team. You will work under our Factory manager to Quality control and the be the stores person for SPT.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and ambitious individual to work for a fast-growing and innovative modern construction company.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Making sure all goods inwards are accounted for and POD’s are on the system.
- Ideally have a good understanding of pre-fabricated building construction
- Stock control
- Yard duties/cleaning
- Following correct procedures for using the fork lift to unload and load various materials
- Arrange 3rdparty haulage to deliver our kits/panels
- Collate any fixing kits required for each project
Requirements:
- Fork Lift License
- Quality inspector
- Warehouse/goods in and out
- Driver and vehicle license
- Understanding of drawings and measurements checking every component prior to dispatch. (drawings produced on CAD)
- Microsoft Office Software is required
- An opportunity to assist in either the joinery or panel manufacturing areas as required
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their knowledge and experience but has a level of understanding of the above.

Pay/Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. 40 hours per week 7:30am until 16:30pm Monday to Friday
