We are looking for an experienced and engaged Senior Digital Designer. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers, copywriters and developers working closely with the Marketing and Growth teams. You will be responsible for creating and assisting in the creation and delivery of a range of Marketing Campaign assets across multiple channels.

The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with experience in online advertising, content creation and be familiar with emerging digital platforms as well as omni-channel marketing. You should be aware of design trends for financial services, bringing innovative approaches to our design capabilities and marketing while not being afraid to take considered risks or learn from failure. This position provides a unique opportunity to operate in a dynamic environment building digital products and services, backed by one of the world's leading financial services providers.

Job responsibilities


  • Ownership for creation and delivery of dynamic creative design work from conception through to production, adhering to brand guidelines. This will involve research, brainstorming and the creation of concepts in collaboration with the marketing team and relevant stakeholders, from an initial brief to final sign off .
  • Create and deliver engaging design for use across social channels, websites, display ads, email marketing, video, print collateral, event branding and promotional material. Ensure design guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design process.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with team members, external creative agencies, and internal stakeholders to establish effective communication levels required to provide effective design reasoning and rationale.
  • Effectively communicate design rationale to team members and stakeholders both verbally and visually with a convincing and engaging presentation style.
  • Quality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelines. Enhance all designs to meet the firm wide accessibility standards.
  • Make decisions and move quickly - don't be afraid to fail fast, learn and start again whilst ensuring customers are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Work with Compliance and Legal stakeholders to maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislative approvals needed for relevant channels, ensuring all materials are consistent with legal conditions and codes of practice.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at senior-weight level for around 5+ years, delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong consumer focus.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual, graphical and marketing design projects with meticulous attention to detail and good project management processes, with a passion for maintaining brand consistency
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and After Effects.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills. Remaining calm under pressure with a positive attitude and able to respond quickly to urgent requests and prioritise in an agile way with all open projects
  • Flexibility / adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus).
  • An excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills. Motivated and have meticulous attention to detail and good project management processes.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant experience in a banking or financial industry is a plus
  • Experience of working in Agile teams - Familiarity with Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirable
