Position Summary

Food & Beverage is at the heart of Jolly Nice and we pride ourselves on our high quality fresh produce, communicated with warm and friendly service.

As a member of the Barista and Bar team your primary focus will be on customer experience, delivering exceptional coffee and artisan drinks, taking food orders, taking great care of your area and looking after our guests.

We take coffee seriously and invest in a high quality artisan product backed up by professional training, encouraging our team to excel in this area. Previous Jolly Nice alumni include those that have become exceptionally talented baristas, cafe managers and even a pair that now run a multimillion pound coffee business.

This role is a high energy one that delivers a fantastic customer journey to ensure everyone leaves happy, whether it’s a relaxed weekday morning or a fast paced Saturday afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

o Welcome, look after and engage with customers.

o Learn and continue to build advanced Barista skills, delivering a consistently high
quality product.

o Work with our team to keep all standards high and make improvements.

o Learn and communicate product and supplier knowledge, helping to educate,
inform and advise our customers.

o Maintain stock rotation, presentation standards and cleanliness throughout the
day.

o Be a whizz on the till, efficient and accurate.

o Complete daily paperwork and checks, ensuring we are compliant with legal
requirements.

o Help minimise food waste, having respect for and taking great care of our
products.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 - 45 per week

Salary: £9.00-£12.00 per hour
