Software Developer Java/ Node.JS (Web Development Team)

The ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership of services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and long-term support.</p> <h3><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and develop internal company-wide web applications and services.</li> <li>Participate in the creation of solution architecture, from selecting approaches to decomposing services and defining their interactions.</li> <li>Build and maintain services running in AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.</li> <li>Develop tools and platforms for localization workflows and integrate them with third-party systems.</li> <li>Improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems.</li> <li>Collaborate with other teams to evolve shared infrastructure and internal platforms.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong&nbsp; 3- 5 years experience in backend web development using Kotlin or Java.</li> <li>Experience with Node.js.</li> <li>A solid understanding of modern backend frameworks (e.g. Ktor and Spring).</li> <li>Experience designing and building production-grade systems.</li> <li>An understanding of distributed-system fundamentals (e.g. networking, fault tolerance, and scalability).</li> <li>Experience working with cloud environments (AWS or similar).</li> <li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration.</li> <li>The ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.</li> <li>A willingness to take ownership of systems in production (including by offering support and assisting with continuous improvement).</li> <li>Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>We would be especially thrilled if you have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.</li> <li>Experience with observability tools (e.g. metrics, logging, and tracing).</li> <li>Practical experience using AI tools or agents in development workflows.</li> </ul> <h3><strong><br>Why join JetBrains?&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong base salary.
