JOB TITLE: Product Specialist - HR
SALARY: £44500 - £55000
POSTING END DATE: 30-06-2023
LOCATION: Whitley

Jaguar Land Rover is harnessing technology to make driving smarter, safer and cleaner. You can help create a world in which responsible, sustainable vehicles revolutionise the driving experience for generations. Our vision is to leverage the incredible potential of technology to build vehicles that not only offer a premium, all-encompassing digital experience, but that also make our customers lives better.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Digital is a fundamental enabler for organisations to succeed and this is no different at JLR – our Digital function is embarking on a journey where innovation, automation, collaboration and value-based delivery is key for the future of our company, and you can be a part of that.

As a Digital Product Specialist, you will be responsible for managing HR application led projects and supporting activities to ensure the HR function gets the most from their HR applications. You will work closely with business owners to understand business priorities and direction, with the Digital Product Manager and technology colleagues making sure that requirements are translated into features and changes, enabling the most effective delivery of business priorities, which will add maximum value. You will be an agent of change who is able to deliver in a pragmatic, personable way; an effective communicator who can work with stakeholders at all levels of the business to understand both technology and business perspectives and bridge the gap between the two. This is a varied, expansive role that will provide lots of opportunity to develop SuccessFactors experience/knowledge, as well as other systems such as Concur, iERP etc.

You'll also be responsible for the following:

  • Defining system requirements of HR system led projects, including analysis and business case development and benefit realisation.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of analysis, at each phase of the project, are managed, traceable and testable.
  • Providing valuable support for all new HR systems functionality deployments, including quarterly releases.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • A good working knowledge of SAP, Success Factors or other HRIS.
  • Experience managing agreed technology solution projects from conception to delivery.
  • Have an excellent level of experience with HR cloud application integration and a strong understanding of HR Operational teams and their responsibilities.
  • You will have strong commercial acumen and a history of making innovative and profitable decisions with respect to technology.
  • Have the ability to analyse technology trends in the market to inform IT and Business opinions and behaviour of the IT product(s).
  • Experience of Technology change management operating with various project methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities successfully.

This role supports hybrid working with an on-site presence required two days per week in either Whitley or Gaydon.

SO WHY US?

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office. At Jaguar Land Rover, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees with more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work, if suitable for their role. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.
