This role will contribute to the planning, development, management and delivery of all Global Launch PR activities for the Commerical function plus at times provide a service back into the wider business for the delivery of all JLR event activity.

The individual will work on events from brief to execution ensuring exceptional standards of professionalism are maintained as a representative of Jaguar Land Rover. This role will protect and enhance brand integrity while achieving flawless event delivery.

The role will work on a diverse range of events and activities including; PR Global Media drive events and reveals, high profile events with Royal or Diplomatic involvement, Global Customer Events, Investor Events, Residual Value events, European and Overseas retailer visits, Corporate and Internal Communication Events, Overseas Incentive visits to the UK, Sponsorship event activation and ad hoc internal and external events on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• 
  Support the creation of outstanding industry leading PR event programmes and experiences
• Create and deliver innovative global product reveal platforms, both physical and digital
• Work in partnership with the product PR team and design to produce highly creative event platforms to deliver multi channel content
• Bring modern luxury to life through the experiential lens
• Draft event briefs, identify key objectives, determine detailed requirements and advise on costs, design and execution. Develop production schedules and critical timing plans in line with delivery dates
• Support health and safety, crisis communications and risk assessment co-ordination for all events
• Subject matter expert on planning, event delivery and budget management
• Support reporting post event demonstrating media coverage vs scorecard objectives across all events
• Contribute to the effective project management and delivery of events being organised by the team both in the UK and abroad
• Assist in the preparation of detailed budgets and monitoring of expenditure, ensuring cost, quality and timing commitments are adhered to – including reconciliation post event
• To be involved in detailed price negotiations with suppliers, in conjunction with Purchasing, in order to achieve the best possible options for the company without compromising quality
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

• 
  Proven experience of assisting in the delivery of successful events management and brand marketing
• Good communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Some experience of supplier management and interpreting event briefs
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

Desirable:

• 
  Previous experience of working in the automotive sector
• Previous experience of successful price negotiations and budget management
• Previous experience of production schedules and critical timing plans
