iSupply Group are recruiting for a Returns Assistant for our busy client in Bolton BL2 2HP
Responsibilities
The Returns Assistant is responsible for dealing with all returning parcels and pallets. Processing the physical return, checking its condition and returning it to stock or arranging for the parcel to be re-shipped back out to the customer, and also help compile a list of damages for disposal. They will also be required to cover for other members of the team and as part of an expanding Returns department, there may be room for adaptation and development of duties. This position will initially be based full time in the Bolton warehouse office, hours of work are 9am-5pm.
Core Duties
Grouping Returned Parcels into racking area- Taking a log of any returned Pallets
- Checking off returned items against returns note
- Returning items back to stock or scrapping damaged items
- Checking on-line parcel courier portals for reason parcel has been returned
- Re-Boxing Items that have damaged packaging
- Keeping a list of panels to be scrapped
- Assisting the returns manager with processing items to be shipped back to manufacturer
- Checking yard throughout the day for any new returned pallets / Parcels
Experience/skillsets required
Excellent organisation and planning skills.- Excellent Communication – written and verbal
- Ability to be reactive and proactive
- The ability to effectively prioritise
- Experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment
- Experience in dealing directly with customers and complaints handling
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Verbal and written communication skills to a high standard
- IT skills, in particular excel to an intermediate level
- Data entry experience with a keen eye for detail
- Reliable & Flexible
Shifts and pay
9AM - 9PM- Monday - Friday
- £10.50 ph
