Order Picker and Delivery Driver
Inter Fresh is a quality supplier of fresh produce to the food service sector throughout Cumbria and south Scotland. We pride ourselves on delivering only the best quality in a friendly and professional manner.
We are looking to expand our current team of enthusiastic and dynamic individuals, and recruit someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced and everchanging environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking orders from our warehouse from the early hours of the morning. This process will require working within a team, being punctual and most importantly attention to detail.
Following this, the candidate will be responsible for driving a van independently to deliver the orders to our customers.
The candidate will need to be able to work in a team and independently.
Experience/ Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be able to display the following qualities, but is not limited to:
-Possess attention to detail, reporting any issues with orders and/or produce to team members.
-Able to communicate effectively between colleagues and customers.
-Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and make important decisions without supervision.
-A keen interest in the hospitality industry, fresh produce and good knowledge of Carlisle and surrounding areas, including south Lakes, Penrith, Keswick and West Cumbria.
-Ability to handle a high workload, in an organised manner and meet important deadlines.
-A confident approach and professional manner when meeting customers on a daily basis.
-Candidate must hold a full driving licence.
There is a permanent and part-time role available with varied working hours from Monday to Saturday.
Typically, a shift will begin at 4am and finish at 1pm, subject to change due to busy periods.
Overtime is available.
We can offer a competitive salary, which is negotiable depending on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: From £11.00 per hour
