Intelligent Vehicle Services provide bespoke repair management solutions for Fleet Operators, Insurance Companies, Insurance Intermediaries and Claims Management Companies throughout the UK.

This we achieve by providing a practical repair management solution, through measurable efficiencies, using the latest information technology and by fully understanding our client’s needs, which also includes working with our client’s other business partners.
What We Need
As IVS continues to grow, we have an opportunity for a talented and experienced Motor Vehicle Engineer to join our team based in Hyde, Greater Manchester.
What Does the Job Involve?
You will be part of our desk top engineering team and expected to accurately assess, value, investigate and engineer accident damage claims. You will use your expertise to ensure vehicle repairs are completed in a cost-effective manner using the correct repair methods or ensuring that a fair settlement value is achieved in total loss cases.
Using and understanding recognised industry estimating solutions such as Audatex and vehicle valuation tools such as Glass's, CAP and Parkers, you will be provided with all the tools you need to help you succeed. This will include the bespoke data systems that IVS has invested in to safeguard its future.
In specialist investigation cases or component failure cases, you will be asked to clearly identify the exact cause or failure.
You will hold a minimum VDA qualification (IMI or NVQ) and have experience of engineering/estimating in the body shop arena and be fully IT literate.
Whilst the position is Monday- Friday 8.30-5pm full time based in our offices in Hyde; there is some flexibility for a minimum amount of working from home where flexibility is required.

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
