HULA IS LOOKING FOR NEW HULAGANS !

An amazing opportunity has arised for an experience and reliable front of house person to join this dynamic cafe. You will be joining our FOH team and be preparing coffees!

Hula is Edinburgh’s premier juice bar and cafe, which was established in 2007 and has since been the go-to place for a healthy meal and amazing experience. Having changed ownership last year, hula new owners have ambitious plans for the cafe and they want you to be part of it!

What we are looking for:

Before we start, it’s worth pointing out that if you’re looking for any old job in hospitality, this is probably not the place. We understand that there may be times when looking for any old job is what’s needed, that’s life and we absolutely get that, however we need people who are specific about joining hula.

We need people who share our goal of growing and developing with us over time. After all Hula has been opened for over 10 years and what makes us great is people who identify with our values, our reputation, our menu and the quality and style of service. We want people who are passionate about excellent hospitality.

• You are detail oriented and thrive under pressure
• You have a ‘can do’ attitude to everything around your kitchen and you are goal oriented
• You are creative and able to contribute to develop and inspire a healthy menu - we love new ideas and we’ll help you develop that
• You are passionate about a fresh and inclusive menu, vegan, gluten-free, etc
• You are passionate about customer service and can liaison with the BOH team to ensure our customers have the best possible experience
• You treat others with respect

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributing to the smooth operation of a small FOH team
• Contributing to continue develop the drink offers
• Preparing coffees, making smoothies, serving customers
• Maintaining high-quality food and sticking to Hula procedures
• Maintaining health and hygiene standards at all time
• Supporting the BOH team by getting involved in food preparation
• Stock control and liaison with suppliers
