Home Instead Wigan currently have Overnight Carer positions in Standish.
Your role as an Overnight Carer will be to provide care and support for our clients within the safety and comfort of their own homes. Supporting our clients with all aspects of their daily life, tasks include:
Helping around the home
Personal care, including dressing and assisting with bathing and helping with mobility
Helping with evening and morning routines
Being available throughout the night if required
Companionship

Once you’ve completed your training, you will be carefully matched to your clients and asked to visit them in their own homes. Your role is to help them feel as comfortable as possible, support them with anything from shopping and cooking meals, to personal hygiene assistance and companionship.
It’s really important to be able to build up trust with the client you’re visiting so that they feel comfortable opening up and discussing any issues or needs with you. We treat our clients and Care Professionals with dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion.
