We are hiring for causal Breakfast Assistants

We are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to become part of our F&B team here in Holiday Inn MediaCityUK.

We are looking for motivated individuals, who can commit themselves to doing breakfast shifts across the whole week, as well as flexibility in terms of the hours that they work, have the ability to work as a team and work at a fast pace. The job requires flexibility - working weekend shifts. The starting time varies between 6am and 7am.

Job role

• Working in a fast-phased environment , taking orders for food and drinks, delivering food and drinks to the table
• Ensuring that all guests experience an outstanding level of service throughout their stay
• Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
• Engage, build and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately
• Being attentive to all guests and looking for opportunities to up-sell and make recommendations to enhance their experience
• Responding promptly to guest complaints and finding ways to turnaround any negative feedback
• Keeping up to date with hotel facilities, promotions and the local market area, so as to be able to effectively assist guests
• Looking for ways to deliver continuous improvements to the guest experience.

What we are looking for in a F&B Team member

• Flexibility in terms of hours and shifts - starting times could be 6am/6:30am/7am· and working during the weekends would be required
• Customer service abilities and confidence
• · Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• · Experience is desirable, but not essentia
• Great communication skills
• Attention to details and attentiveness to the guests needs
• Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
• Confident and outgoing personality

Holiday inn MediaCity UK is a vibrant in the Salford Quays media hub, with easy access to Old Trafford Stadium and city centre. The hotel consist of 218 guests rooms, 3 meeting rooms, 1 private dining room, restaurant which is due to reopen in September, lobby bar, which serves Starbucks drinks and 24-hours reception.

Part-time hours: 12-25 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
