Who we are
Hobbs House Bakery was established in the Cotswold's in the 1920's and we are a true family business with five generations of baking experience.
We believe that handmade bread should be available to everyone. At our bakery in Chipping Sodbury our expert team of bakers produce an exceptional range of high quality breads, pastries and confectionery.
We bake daily a fantastic variety of products using our family recipes. Many of our breads are risen with our 63 year old sourdough starter. One third of our range is produced to Soil Association Organic Standards. We use traditional and modern methods and the finest ingredients to produce award winning products.
We have a thriving wholesale business throughout the South West plus four shops based in the Cotswold's and one in Bristol.
The role
The night shift takes our lovely bakery products and transforms them to the customers specific requirements. This role is a real mixture between order picking, packing and delivering.
You will be involved in the picking, packing, loading and then the delivery and unloading of the order to a new wholesale customer. The remainder of the shift is likely to be spent helping other drivers to load their vans.
You will be part of a close knit team and the successful person will be very hands on, flexible and hard working with the ability to deliver consistent, high quality work with good attention to detail. Attitude is more important than experience, although previous experience of driving a delivery van would be advantageous.
Working hours are: Sunday - Friday 10pm-6am (37.5 hours) (Nights off Monday and Saturday).
