Job Title: Plumber (Mobile Service Role)

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience
Location: The role is predominately on the road. Travelling to installations across the UK to carry out various service, maintenance and fault-finding tasks on Global Energy Systems Air Source Heat Pumps.
Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:30am till 17:45 - The hours cover Monday to Thursday however, the candidate must be happy with flexible hours. Jobs can potentially run over, need to be started early, and there are on call periods during weekends and bank holidays that could require attendance.

Responsibilities

· Assist Installing new heating systems, replacing radiators and fitting new Global Energy Systems Air Source Heat Pumps across the UK

· Attend service calls at customer sites to carry out routine maintenance and reactive repairs on current Air Source Heat Pump installations.

· Accurately report back on each issue attended, the resulting fix and with forward thinking, a solution to better develop the product range

· Carry out tasks methodically, following procedure, to ensure tasks are carried out correctly. Pro-actively support the company by developing the current procedures in order to optimise our work

· Grow and develop with the company, once up to speed, provide training and development to future individuals as the company grows

· Interface politely and confidently with a mixture of clients from the domestic to commercial sector

· Work well in a team, but just as affectively on their own

· Follow instructions from office-based service engineers

· Have the ability to problem solve on their own

· Ensure all site working areas are left tidy and clean

· Ensure customer satisfaction with every aspect of our service

· To be available to participate in standby or call out rotas.

What you’ll be doing:

· The candidate must already have, or working towards an NVQ Level 2 plumbing and heating qualification or equivalent

· Experience reading heating schematics, fitting pipe and carrying out general plumbing maintenance work

· The successful candidate must have an eagerness to learn and develop themselves within the role. The candidate must be happy to drive, as our customer base is UK wide.

Global Energy Systems provides an excellent training and development programme to advance all employees knowledge and expertise to a high level of support on the equipment and so experience can be gained in house.

This role is within the Services Department of Global Energy Systems. The purpose of the role is to provide high quality service, maintenance and technical support to customers and installers. The successful candidate will be working very closely with members of the Services Office team but also spend a lot of time working alone interfacing with our growing customer network.
