HR Director
Our client, a leading utilities contracting business that provides telecoms and HV electrical services in the UK, is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead their HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy and driving its future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure that the business is attracting the best talent.
- Develop and implement training and development plans to support the personal and professional growth of the workforce.
- Ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant employment legislation and regulations.
- Implement and manage HR information systems to streamline HR processes.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Director, ideally within the utilities or construction industry.
- A strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations.
- Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills and experience of managing a team.
- A degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
